HomeCamp is an unconference about using technology to monitor and automate the home for greener resource use and to save costs. This is my take on the news and discussions that take place around the HomeCamp space.

The HomeCamp Community started as an UK un-conference event in 2008 when a group of home hackers, automation geeks, sustainable energy enthusiasts, comfy home fans and those interested in energy cost control came together to discuss, discover and learn from each other.

Organised by Greenmonk and Redmonk Consultants the group found they came from many walks of life with diverse interests, experience and backgrounds. Although many a geek was there, there were as many 'regular' guys and gals.

The Community keeps in touch via social media in its many forms, blog, wiki, Google group, Facebook, Twitter and more.

This podcast audio show is adding to the mix to bring news from the Community to the Community and the wider community of interested people. It brings news, opinion, ideas, comment, facts and fictions to your ipod, mp3 player, home and car audio.
